California Elections Update

We are still waiting for the final results of this year's Congressional election, the midterms. As of now, with the victory of Congressman Jim Costa, and Congressman Eric Swalwell (who recently identified as being of Portuguese ancestry with roots also in Hawaii) and the leading votes held by Congressman David Valadão and candidate John Duarte, we have a possibility of having 4 Portuguese-Americans in Congress from California. Here are the results for the state offices, where we continue with one American of Portuguese ancestry in the State Senate and one in the State Assembly.
